RI and dispersion for common materials match Gem Cut Studio, plus a few requested synthetics (YAG, GGG, GAGG). Birefringence, SG, hardness, optic character, crystal system, and pleochroism are from standard gemological references; individual stones vary by origin and treatment. Critical angle is computed from RI. Click a column to sort. Verify for critical work.

Your own reference for what lap/grit comes next, by material. Not a decreed "official" progression, just whatever you (or your team) document here so everyone can check the same source. Steps reuse the Stages and Grit/lap options from Settings. Export the library to share your shop's standard with others; import to adopt someone else's.

For shops: add your machines and cutters, and the Timer tab becomes a live board with one timer per bench — track hours by machine and by cutter. Leave both empty and the timer stays a single timer, exactly as before.

Linking a backup file (Chrome or Edge on desktop) auto-saves every change to a real file on your computer — your data then survives clearing your browser. On other browsers, use Export regularly.

Optional for now. Creating an account uploads a copy of your data so it can sync across devices — it never deletes or replaces what's already on this device. Your automatic snapshots and optional backup file (Settings → Backup & Data) keep your work safe either way, so trying sync or the free trial can't cost you your data.

Feedback opens your email app addressed to the developer, pre-filled with the version you're on.
